The look of… coming home
Family Life Services understands the overwhelming challenges shared by women with children who face separation, homelessness, divorce, or other events that disrupt family life. Our unique program supports the rebuilding of lives by offering a safe, positive home environment filled with caring, well-trained staff and volunteers. Designed to nurture a spirit of hope and healing, our residency program encourages growth and success by providing the following services:
- furnished or unfurnished single-family apartments
- secure play areas for children
- one-on-one spiritual mentoring
- housekeeping / homemaking mentoring
- support groups
- counseling for individuals, families and children
- networking assistance and referrals
- life skills classes
- a safe wifi connection
Residents may benefit from these resources for up to two years, providing they are employed or in school and actively involved in the Family Life Services program as they seek to improve their situations. We welcome motivated mothers ages 18 years or older who have no serious drug, alcohol or mental illness problems, are able to pay a modest fee, and are willing to work with our caring staff to establish goals that result in healing, hope and long-term quality of life.
