Open House for Church Ministry Leaders

Family Life Services will be hosting an Open House for church ministry leaders on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 1-3 PM. All pastors, ministry directors, and staff paid and/or lay are invited. Come to hear more about the rich history of FLS, our resident program for single moms and their children, as well as counseling services we offer to local individuals and groups on a sliding scale rate. to be one of the recipients of Inspired Studios’ And to All a Goodnight Christmas campaign
to help our resident children this holiday season. Inspired Studios is asking local Falcon residents to drop off new pajamas and books at participating businesses to provide a special gift to Family Life Services’ resident children, as well as other local charities.

Creation Inspirations

Family Life Services is partnering with Cheryl Pickett to help our families this Christmas. For every Creation Inspirations book that Cheryl sells she will donate a portion of her proceeds to Family Life Services’ Residential Program. Creation Inspirations is a wonderful book that combines faith, family time and fun. It's also another helpful tool for anyone who works in Children’s Programming or Education. So get your copy today and help support our resident families at the same time.

Family Life Services Hosts “Heritage of Hope Art Show & Reception”
Colorado Springs, CO
Family Life Services (FLS) a ministry that has served this community for 67 years, is hosting a fundraiser, the “Heritage of Hope Art Show Reception”, on November 20, 2009, 7:00-9:00 PM at the Fine Arts Center located at 30 West Dale Street, in Colorado Springs.
“This event will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase local artists,” says Julie Abel, Executive Director of FLS. “It will also create awareness for a local organization doing relevant work for families in our community who are in need, especially during these difficult times.”
Art that will be featured at the event includes photography, sculptures, paintings and signed books written by local artists. FLS will be having a silent auction, a live auction and will also sell, art donated by partners and friends of the ministry. There truly will be something for everyone. Children who live at Family Life Services will also have submissions in the show.
Family Life Services is the longest operating family ministry in Colorado Springs. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving single mothers and their children right here in Southern Colorado by providing a residential program that offers low-fee housing and ongoing counseling for up to two years. FLS helps move these families from “on the edge” survival to emotional and financial stability. The ministry also provides counseling services to individuals and families on a sliding scale rate.

Family Life Services (FLS) is currently taking donations for their first ever Art Show and Reception, Heritage of Hope, set for November 20, 2009, 7:00-9:00 PM at the Fine Arts Center located at 30 West Dale Street, in Colorado Springs.
Family Life Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving single mothers and their children right here in Southern Colorado by providing a residential program that offers low-fee housing and ongoing counseling for up to two years. FLS helps move these families from “on the edge” survival to emotional and financial stability.
FLS is seeking art donations such as framed photography, sculptures, and framed paintings for the event. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase local artists, as well as create awareness for a local organization doing relevant work in our community. FLS will be having a silent auction, a live auction, and art pieces for sale that have been donated by partners and friends of the ministry.
Art donations can be dropped off at our facility on 1880 S. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, 80905, or items can be arranged to be picked up by calling us at (719)632-4661. Donations will be accepted through October 1, 2009. FLS will also provide you with a gift-in-kind receipt for tax purposes.
Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20 each and can be purchased through FLS' secure ecommerce site.
